| We are sorry for all the victims of fraud and crime etc.
on Ebay, but a search of the web for "Ebay Lawsuit" brings about
3,330,000 hits (growing daily).
Click here if you doubt. A search for "paypal lawsuit"
brings about 1,170,000 results (growing daily).
Click here if you doubt. So while we love you and are very
sympathetic towards you, there are simply so many of you that we couldn't
begin to manage. So please don't be offended, but this site is not
for you. Of course you are welcome to read here and in the forum
and we hope you will spread the word about this site.
(unless you have filed any lawsuit against Ebay in
which case we would love to hear your story in the community)

The California Attorney General has a nice antitrust web page http://ag.ca.gov/antitrust/ (of course we would prefer to see a Federal case so here is a link to the US dept of Justice http://www.usdoj.gov/atr/contact/newcase.htm) This site is also not for those who really were "bad guys" and had accounts suspended for valid reasons like fraud and stuff like that. This site is not to rail about or post libel about Ebay; there are plenty of facts already, no need to make up stuff.. |

| Who this site definitely IS for | |
| We welcome any attorneys who are looking for clients
for a suit against Ebay. We have a couple of "semi-private" members
only forums for lawyers and victims. We built an Ebay business, had an Ebay store, paid to be "ID Verifed", were encouraged to invest in Ebay advertising (we were even buying the $300 a week front page ads), had 100% positive feedback (about 39 or so) and had our account suspended without cause because they started harassing us claiming that they could not verify our identity. They had no problem, however, charging our credit card after suspending our account, cancelling our auctions and closing our Ebay store. The bank agreed with our chargeback against them though. This site is to try to help others who are business victims of Ebay, who were encouraged to invest in building an Ebay business only to have their account cancelled without cause and their business summarily destroyed without valid reason. |

| What about legal action against Ebay | |
| We are considering civil action against Ebay and seeking counsel regarding the matter, but it is our hope that something will come out of this modest effort and related efforts that will result in one or more larger class action lawsuits against Ebay and hopefully even Federal anti-trust action by the government that will make the world a better place. | |
| Common sense please | |
| Obviously we need to be responsible and honorable about how this site is run so that we do nothing inappropriate and we ask for your cooperation. Hopefully we will be able to provide alternatives for people looking for auction sites who have wrongly been banned from Ebay and raise awareness. | |
| Some basic observations | |
| If Ebay decides to suspend your account they can do so for such things as "potential troublemaker" at their whim. Ebay forbids any "out of Ebay transactions" for members (Does that include if you buy a hamburger? That would be up to Ebay wouldn't it now?). We also know that if someone is suspended then their family members and associates are also suspended. (cute, eh? "associates"). We are not big on big government but we believe that the Ebay situation is so outrageous that the Federal government needs to get involved. | |
We have a community for those who feel that they were cheated by Ebay as a business (meaning that you were a seller who had your account suspended without reasonable cause) or something equally egregious or you have a lawsuit filed against Ebay. Please remember that we are hoping that legal action civil and or criminal may be taken against Ebay. Please do not post anything libelous against Ebay or any hearsay or any profanity or obscenity. Some forums will only be visible to registered users. Oh, one other thing, it's nothing personal but.... you will have to affirm that you are not an employee or agent of Ebay or Paypal in order to register here in the community.
